Providence Day School has assembled one of the nation’s finest pre-collegiate faculties, with over 60% holding advanced degrees in their field. The school launched its ‘One to World’ initiative that seeks to connect its students to the global community, and empower them to become active participants in creating an optimal teaching and learning environment. A campus-wide digital citizenship initiative also builds in students an understanding of how they can successfully navigate and operate within an ever-connected world.
Providence Day School is a global school, focused on developing successful and responsible global citizens. We introduce our Lower School students to Chinese, Spanish, and French. Our Global Studies Diploma Program, the first of its kind in the country, allows students in grades 9-12 to choose a curriculum and set of experiences that lead to a second Global Studies diploma. Our teachers are also afforded the opportunity to earn a Global Educators Certificate.
Within our rigorous curriculum, we also understand the need for play, socialization, 休息, creativity, and experiential learning. We truly value family and work ceaselessly to build meaningful, life-long connections with our parents, 校友, grandparents, 校友 parents, and other supporters. The school enjoys a strong culture of philanthropy and vibrant partnerships within the larger Charlotte region. We are a community for life.
